Feature and Follow (2)


Hey there!
The blogs featured this week are Little Read Riding Hood and Bookthatthing!

This week's question:
Q: Have you had a character that disappointed you? One that you fell in love with and then "broke up" with later on in either the series or a stand-alone book? Tell us about him or her.

I don't have many falling outs with characters, but one character that I felt this happened with was Gale (Hunger Games), my feelings for him changed in Mockingjay because there was this change in his personality, to me he came across as being spiteful and always had thoughts of revenge running through his mind. However I wouldn't say that I fell out of love with him entirely because I felt that I understood that he was going through the effects of war which had caused him to change. There aren't many characters which I fell out of love with, most of the time I just dislike the character straightaway from the start.

    Oh I completely agree with you! Gale went from being a possible love interest to just a big fat no for me. It's even worse when they cast Liam Hemsworth and you want to like him again!
