Feature & Follow (6)

The blogs featured this week are Head Stuck In A Book and Books And Blossoms, you'd probably want to hop over to their blogs and check them out!

This weeks question: If I could "unread" a book, which one would it be? Is it because you want to start over and experience it again for the first time? Or because it was THAT bad?

I've got quite a few books which I'd love to read again just to experience the amazing-NESS of the book all over the again.

Two books that I would "unread" because they left me emotionally distraught would have to be Mockingjay (The Hunger Games #3) by Suzanne Collins and Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, they both have so many raw emotions and depth to them, I'd probably cry all over again in Mockingjay and become super depressed if I read Speak again.

If I had to choose a book to "unread" that would make me all giddy with happiness and have me smiling goofily ( which does happen!) would most definitely have to be some of Meg Cabot's books, more specifically Every Boy's Got One from The Boy series, it NEVER fails to amuse me, I want to be able to re read the book and die of laughter all over again!

I can't think of a REALLY bad book which I'd want to re read, the worst books normally end up on the DNF pile and I would have no interest in re-reading it.

If you would like to follow my blog I would prefer if you follow via GFC or Linky Follower, thank you for stopping by and leave your link in the comments below so I can visit your blog too!

This Friday's Question:
Authors Are Our Celebrities: Have you ever contacted an author you admired? How did that experience go? If not, which author would you love to have a chat with?

Does a tweet count? Well I did get a reply once from Julie Kagawa! (I know it's not much)

Even though I've done a few author interviews I haven't really had the chance to have a proper chat with any of my favourite authors. One person that I would love to meet and have a chat with has to be Lauren Oliver, I seriously want to know where she gets all her amazing ideas from and what goes through her mind on a daily basis. I'd also love to speak to Suzanne Collins but seriously I have no idea what I would say because her books are too awesome!

I would love to read about all your experiences or who you would love to meet, leave your TGIF links below! Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I love The Hunger Games! Mockingjay was soooo sad. :( I cried too. Haven't heard of the other books you mentioned. But I have read some of Cabot's books, I'm a fan :) Love her Missing series & Mediator series! Have a great weekend!

  2. I took the "Unread" not to have re-read but so that I could wash all memory of those books from my brain. There are quite a few books I'd do that with.

My follow friday. Hope you visit!
